Hi Experts,
Could anyone let me know whether we can do the cognos 8.4 on windows vista? ???

Previously I had it on windows 2003 server but that laptop crashed and I got the new one with windows vista OS, want to install cognos 8.4 in it.

Kindly suggest.

Jyst to clarify the above post, Vista is a supported platform for browser and client only. It is not supported as an OS for hosting the Cognos 8 server architecture.

Sorry about that, MF is right, it is only for client apps & browser. You cannot install the server. Thanks for catching that MF.

there is some fixes ...using that we deploy all the client & server environment of cognos.....i'm running Cognos 8.4 in Windows7....
