My answer would be... as many as there are within your report :)

Seriously, how many rows of data do you want your report to return? I would suggest that anything more than a hundred is not going to be useful. How many users will sit scrolling through page after page after page of data? They will quickly give up and look elsewhere for their information.

Can you tell us what you're trying to do?

MF.
