Our upgrade clients prefer to have access to the old version of Cognos in case they need to retrieve something from the environment. With Cognos 10 and 8, we can just turn off the service to remove access and the client can restart the service if they need something off the old system. The only idea I have so far is to uninstall Impromptu from all the user's machines and leave it installed on the system administrator's machine. Does anyone have any other ideas?
