How to migrate cognos 8.4 application to new server

Hi,
Please provide me the steps to move the complete application to new server.
I have cognos(8.4) application hosted on IBM websphere application server 7.0 , its using TDS 6.1.
In this cognos and websphere is installed in same server and TDS is installed new server.
I need to migrate the same application setup to another Datacenter, which will change the hostname and IP address of servers. So i need to migrate TDS to newTDS and cognos/WAS to newCognos.

If we do disk cloning(PPRC sync) of cognos/was installed disks with new server disk, will it work?

Have you ever installed Cognos before?

Are you moving the existing hardware to the new DC?
If not...
New data center new server hardware? If yes, have you checked that the new hardware and software (OS and DB) are supported for Cognos, Websphere and TDS? Again, if yes, then back up the Content Store DB and do a new install of Cognos in the new data center. Once installed configure cognos to point to the restored DB, and off you go.

If not, then we need more details.
