Different and Complex YTD/QTD/MTD/WTD measures required to be created in FM V11

Cognos Gurus,

I know there are many articles on YTD/QTD/MTD/WTD on many forums. This is a different Requirement and URGENT
we are designing a self service portal for users, so all needs to be done in FM and user will just drag and drop on reports in v11 portal.

I have to create all the above mentioned measures for say 'sales'
The user expectation is uploaded in Image.
I can get the YTD/QTD/MTD/WTD to work individually if report has years, Quarters, Months and Week dragged in. but the issue is that when i pull say MTD in report, the QTD and YTD column values ( already in report) should change accordingly( to what is pulled in the report)-explained clearly in attachment.
Somehow i am unable to write such flexible calculation for the measures in Framework Manager.

Please help, or explain if I am missing something major here.

Hi All,

To recap in short, what i require is to create one YTD sales measure at FM level, which behaves as below:

1. If i pull years in report, it should show sales for each year
2. If i pull quarters along with Years, the same measure should show q1 of year 1 and then running total of quarters for year, restarting the same way for each year.
3. If i pull months along with year and quarter, then it should show same way for months. Running totals of years breaking and re-starting at next year.
4. same way for if i pull weeks.

Any inputs would be helpful as I am in a really urgent situation here.
