Scaling to Only Certain Data

I am using the column visualization in an active report. I have set the visualization to be controlled by an active report variable and it shows the correct amounts in the chart; however, the scale of the visualization is showing items in the legend that do not apply to the applicable variable. I have attached an example for a frame of reference. Essentially, this column visualization should only show 14 items in the legend based on the selected variable.

I have changed the range of the series, measure, and categories to only filtered data. Any thoughts?

if you are using

Rave 1 Chart - Select Series which are have used measures in the chart and in the properties - set the Category Range as 'Filtered Data'

Rave 2 Chart - Select Color which are have used measures in the chart and in the properties - set the Category Range as 'Filtered Data'
