UDA-SQL-0432 error with SAP R/3 Connector and Data Manager, DM 10.0.2.1

Hi all,

I am having trouble using an SAP R/3 system as source/connection in Data Manager 10.2.1 on a PC with Windows 10, build1709, 64 bit. Everything else is fine so far, like connecting to Oracle 12g databases orreading CSV files. Under Windows 7, I don't have had any problem.

I have already reinstalled the two programs (DM first, SAP connector second, after a reboot). However, when opening the existing DM catalog with an already configured SAP R/3 system and clicking 'test connection", I keep getting this error message:

1. ERROR
DM-DBM-0402 UDA driver reported the following:

UDA-SQL-0432 Unable to locate the gateway "cogudar3".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. ERROR
DM-DBM-0306 UDA driver error connecting to 'ALIAS_068B52A8'.

Does anyone have a solution at hand or an idea what to look for?

Hi,

Is the gateway error definitely cogudar3? If so, that's not an error I have ever seen.

I'm pretty sure Windows 10 isn't a supported platform for Data Manager - IBM stopped issuing conformance updates for 10.2.1 a while ago. I'm not sure what to suggest other than reverting to an older OS such as Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 which should be supported.

Hi,

not a big fan of pulling back old threads but just wanted to mention:
The reason for this error is an installation of a SAP runtime client which is too new. A customer of mine installed SAP GUI 7400.3.11.1128 PL 11 and the error is gone.

Running on Windows Server 2019 by the way.

Christian, are you running Data Manager on WinServ 2019?
