Hi Friends,

I am getting the following error when trying to update a query subject in framework manager model using 'Tools > update object'.
This is happening only with DQM models and not with models set to CQM.

BMT-IMP-0002 Failed to execute metadata request. DPR-ERR-2072 Unable to load balance a request with absolute affinity, most likely due to a failure to connect to the remote dispatcher. See the remote dispatcher detailed logs for more information. Check the health status of the installed system by using the dispatcher diagnostics URIs.CAF-WRN-2082 An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID:2022-01-07-08:38:41.518-#21

Its a single server installation that  I am working on with a single dispatcher. On checking the framework manager configuration portal, the dispatcher settings seem correct. The framework manager version being used is 11.1.

Please suggest how this error can be resolved.

Hi,

Do you have System Admin access to the Cognos server? If so, do you get the same load balance error when you try to test the data source connection?

I found an IBM Support document that deals with this error:
