PowerPlay 7.4 dropping columns from PowerPlay 7.0 report

When we open a report that was originally developed in Cognos PowerPlay 7.0 with calculated columns using subsets, that same report when opened with Cognos PowerPlay 7.4 drops the calculated column from the report. The same measures and subsets are in both reports (as shown in the dimensions).
