Hi,

This isn't something simple that can easily be done for free. You're either going to have to put in time and effort (and expertise) to build your own process to do this, or spend a little on a tool that does it already. In terms of the man hours you'll be paying for someone to develop this process, it may or may not work out more expensive than purchasing a solution?

3rd party tools are a great option for this type of task an automation.  While I'm not well versed in the features and functionality of the  product you mention, I can assure you that MetaManager from BSP Software can quickly and easily solve this for you, https://www.bspsoftware.com/products/metamanager/#mm-download. 

The solution is a simple drag and drop of the item and can be scheduled to run immediately, at a later time, or on a recurring basis.  You can include a single item, or many items from all over the content store at one time. 

I'm happy to set you up with a 30 day fully functional key to solve this. 

Thank you for your reply. These 2 columns are prompt selections. As in "Select Date".

This is a SQL based report, im going to try to move the parameters to the sql query with a prompt macro and see if that does it.

Hello all,

I have a report that has 2 columns populated from prompted selection, when i export the report to CSV those 2 columns disappear.  I have tried using singleton, and report expressions to no success. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi,

When you export to csv, you get only the items defined in the first query of the report in your output - not what is defined on the page. Can you add the items you need to the first query?

Imagine I have a crosstab in Cognos analytics dashboard. On columns i have a calculation (13 months rolling period) as below:

case when Date_.Month_End_Date_formatted>_add_months (maximum ( Sheet1.Month_End_Date_formatted    ),-13   ) then Date_.Month_End_Date_formatted else null end

on rows, I have all metrics like opening balance, Ending balance, Total Head Count and then Delta..Delta is nothing but running_difference(Total HC)..so far so good?

now, the problem is that the Delta metric is failing..
